Landa developed a rapid detection of melamine chemical reagent
Release time: 2017-01-14
A chemical reagent that can quickly detect the presence of melamine in food has been introduced at Lanzhou University. According to one of the researchers, Chen Baohua, a professor and doctoral supervisor at Lanzhou University's School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, the chemical reagent can be added to milk and other food products, and the color change of the food can be quickly determined whether the food contains melamine substances.
According to Chen Baohua, the detection of melamine in food is a complex process. At present, the domestic testing department mainly uses liquid chromatography instrumentation, which requires professional operation, is time-consuming and expensive. In order to achieve the goal of rapid detection of melamine in food and "batch inspection" of food products, a special group was set up in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Lanzhou University, led by three professors Chen Baohua, Huang Guosheng and Zhang Haixia, entrusted by the relevant departments of Gansu Province to carry out scientific research. After repeated experiments, the group successfully developed a melamine rapid detection chemical reagent in just 4 days.
It is understood that the use of this chemical reagent for food testing, with simple and fast, easy to operate, low cost testing characteristics, after simple training, ordinary dairy farmers will be able to master the technology. To detect whether the milk contains melamine, for example, to add the chemical reagent to the milk, it only takes 20 minutes to detect the results.
September 28, Lanzhou University College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Vice President Tu Si Long said in an interview, the group is the rapid detection of chemical reagents for further technical refinement, in order to meet the requirements of the qualitative and quantitative standards of the detected substances, will be made simple, easy to carry kits, to farmers and food enterprises to promote the application.

Metal chelate chromatography affinity packing comparable to imported products
CrystaroseC FF metal chelate chromatography affinity packing has super high rigidity, higher linear flow rate up to 700cm/h, and the back pressure is close to the imported similar products or even lower. Therefore, the packing life is longer.
