Activated Thiol Crystarose 4B

classification:Pre-activation chromatography

Thiopropyl Crystarose 6 Fast Flow is an amphiphilic filler containing a pyridine disulfide group, which is linked to an agarose gel by a stable covalent bond.

Thiopropyl Crystarose 6 Fast Flow is an amphiphilic filler containing a pyridine disulfide group, which is linked to an agarose gel by a stable covalent bond.

Thiopropyl Crystarose 6 Fast Flow can react with reactive substances containing sulfhydryl groups to form 2-sulfur compounds under very mild conditions, and the reaction is covalently bonded so that the sulfhydryl-containing substances are reversibly immobilized on the medium. Therefore, this packing can be used for many special requirements in chromatographic purification processes. As follows:

Application 1: Separation and purification of sulfhydryl-containing proteins, peptides or sulfhydryl-active substances

Application 2: Separation and purification of enzymes containing sulfhydryl active sites from enzyme mixtures or denatured enzyme mixtures.

Application 3: Immobilization of proteins and enzymes containing sulfhydryl groups for protection of sulfhydryl groups and storage.

Application 4: Formation of new and affinity chromatography packing by immobilization of ligands containing sulfhydryl groups for affinity chromatography purification.Thiopropyl Crystarose 6 B/FF is suitable for immobilization of small molecule ligands, immobilization of large molecule ligands requires the use of Thiopropyl Crystarose 4B/FF.
