Product Overview
The Spin DS G-25 desalting column is a convenient manual desalting column that can be quickly operated using a centrifuge. It can separate and process biomacromolecules from small-molecule salts and exchange buffer solutions and sample washing. Small molecules such as various chemical salts and free tags can be effectively removed from macromolecular substances. It has high desalting efficiency and is convenient and quick. The pre-packed column contains 0.6 ml of Crystadex G-25 resin (medium), with a pore size exclusion limit of 5000. Molecules smaller than the pore size enter the gel pores, with the entire path being the entire gel volume; molecules larger than the pore size do not enter the gel pores and only flow through the external water volume of the gel. Therefore, macromolecules elute before smaller molecules.
