Crystaldex G-50

classification:Dextran gel packing

传统的葡聚糖凝胶经过环氧氯丙烷交联后,具有较高的机械强度和超高的选择性。

Product Overview

Gel filtration chromatography (also known as molecular sieving) works on the principle that small molecules can pass through the pores of the porous gel, while large molecules cannot. Additionally, the time it takes for molecules to pass through the gel pores varies depending on their molecular weight and geometric shape, thereby separating samples of different molecular weights and structures. Crystaldex G50 utilizes gel filtration to remove salts, labels, and other small molecules from nucleic acids, proteins, and other large molecules, or for buffer solution exchange.

The finer the particles of the dextran G50 resin, the higher the resolution and the better the separation efficiency, making it more suitable for separation experiments involving molecules with similar molecular weights; desalting and buffer solution exchange typically use medium-sized or coarse-sized resin particles.
